Guidance through Medicaid

We know that managing and applying for Medicaid can be a bit confusing and hard to work through. So it's our job to help guide and maneuver that process with you! Just make an appointment with us and we will gladly help you through it. Appointments are free!

Qualifications to Receive Directed Services

18 years of age or older
Comfortable with being a home health aide
Able to direct your own care (Consumer Directed)
Capable of living independently with CDS
Physically disabled
Requires at least a nursing level of care
Have unmet needs that must be safely met at a cost that shall not exceed the average monthly Medicaid cost of nursing facility care as determined by the Department of Social Services.
Document proof off of Medicaid eligibility under Title XIX of the Social Security Act.
Participate in an assessment and or evaluation conducted by DHSS

Becoming a Care Giver

We know that not all people know where to start and or how to become a caregiver or a home health aide. That being said, we would like to hire those that would want to become one and we will assign you a partner to start caregiving. Caregivers can receive up to $13 an hour. To apply, simply make an appointment with us. Appointments are free!

Caregivers must be:

21 years of age or older
Able to work off their partner's ( the one receiving care) schedule.
Can provide their own means of transportation or have no issues with transportation.

Basic Care Giver Responsibilities

Making Beds
Doing Laundry
Preparing Meals
Washing Dishes
Cleaning & bathing
Dressing
Running Errands (Food, Groceries, store, etc.)
Assisting in household duties or needs
Patient Engagement
Performing Various Task directed by patient or Family request

Hiring Friends and loved ones

We understand that family and friends are important and mean a lot to us. Because of that, we want to pay them for taking care of their loved ones and allow them to be in charge of the home care services! This is how it works:

If you want to take care of a loved one, we will pay up to $13 an hour to do so!
If you already are taking care of a loved one. we will pay up to $13 an hour to do so!
If your loved one wants you to take care of them, we will pay up to $13 an hour to do so!

[Note: all caregiver responsibilities are decided by the individual receiving the care. This is all self-guided]
